Victors Musical Adventures

Welcome to my world. Here, we can all be Victors! Jokes aside, I am excited to share all the fun things that I do and love, share stories, and connect with all yall!

- It is currently July 8th 2023, I am in Chadds Ford PA, and I am writing my 3rd mailing list letter! -

I hope that you have had a great start to your summer! I have to say that mine has been a bit wild and unexpected, but by the grace of God, I have found my self in such amazing company doing what I love.. music!

First of all, I wanted to introduce you to my road warrior, Big Bertha, pictured above. I don't know what I'd do without her. Me and Big Bertha have been traveling quite a bit around the east coast this summer and she's been running like a champ! especially for a 32 year old mini-van! Let me tell you about some of the adventures we have gone on..

Firstly, I moved out of Virginia where I had been living for most of my life, to travel, make music, and spend time with friends.. that is until I make my move to Nashville TN, in September! I couldn't be more excited!

So far this summer I have..

1. Flown to Indiana to teach at Midwest Banjo camp alongside some of my favorite players (Adam Hurt, Alan Munde, Tony Trischka, Riley Baugus, and my sister Gina!)
2. Played in Earl Whites Band for the Dare to Be Square event in Northern VA hosted by Brad Kolodner and crew.
3. Bought a nice camera, and created a Patreon page! (where I teach lessons on tunes, techniques, host virtual banjo social hours, and much more!)
4. Played a gig with Jake and Carter Eddy at Pine Grove Mills, in Pine Grove PA
5. Went to Pittsburgh PA to record a full length album with Jake and Carter Eddy!!!! I could not be more excited! The session was magical, challenging, fun, and and exciting. More on that soon!
6. Went on a pontoon boat with amazing people to a sand bar where we saw Taylor Swifts house.
7. Played a two gigs with Ben Weatherbee and his mom Ruth Rappaport and started a free jazz/oldtime duo with Ben, called Nose Ghost! its a wild and free new type a jam :)
8. Spent 4th of July with my best friends who graciously are letting me stay with them for much of the summer!

So overall, it has been an eventful and exciting start to the summer! with my new projects under way, and my move to Nashville coming up, there is a lot of unknowns, a lot of excitement, and a lot of love.
